REO Accounting Specialist

Industry:  Property Management & REO Property Preservation

Job Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Managing Vendors Accounts/Ensuring Vendors compliance ie. Insurance, vendor application
  • Update Vendor database
  • Quality Control and review Vendor documents/photos
  • Uploading documents/photos onto clients database
  • Managing PPW (E.R.S. Intranet)
  • Organize and consolidate files and documents
  • Interfacing with both vendors/clients
  • Invoice work orders
  • Reconcile unpaid work orders
  • Reconcile vendors unpaid work orders
  • Process payment
  • Distribute check registers

Compensation:

$13.00-$15.00 Hourly

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Minimum typing speed of 35wpm
  • Maintain high ethical standards and confidentiality
  • Hardworking
  • Independent
  • Possessing the ability to think outside the box
  • Professional
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills; written and verbal
  • Able to work under deadlines with multiple interruptions
  • Experienced with Microsoft applications including Windows
  • The ability to keep records and all work related information confidential

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience in accounting
  • 2 years of experience in property preservation/REO or construction industry
  • Skilled with Microsoft Excel

Standard Weekly Schedule:  Full time position (minimum of 40 hours weekly)
